Property Tax Credits

The Missouri Property Tax Credit Claim provides credit to certain veterans with 100% VA disability for a portion of the real estate taxes or rent paid during the year.

For renters, the maximum credit is $750, while for homeowners, it is $1,100. The actual credit amount depends on the real estate taxes or rent paid and the total household income, including both taxable and nontaxable income.
